All food is homemade and locally sourced, our daily roasts include lamb, beef, and a vegetarian nut roast (with vegetarian gravy - you don't need to be veggie to enjoy one!) You might of noticed we mentioned that we boast about our roasts. Smaller portions of menu meals are available for children. We also have a limited licence and we specialise in fruit wines and continental bottled beers.
We have very good wheelchair access including up to the canal. No that doesn't mean you can push grandma in.
We are open Tues - Sun all day (10 am - 5 pm) for light snacks and coffees etc, and main meals are served from 11am - 3pm, 4pm at weekends. In winter (end Oct - end Mar) we close at 4pm. We are open Bank Holiday Mondays, and closed Christmas/Boxing/New Years Day(s).
The building was originally a run down farm which Phil rebuilt and extended to form the craft centre. Now it houses the cafe, the craft displays featuring locally turned wood by Ron Green, extensive range of cards for all occassions and an extensive range of local walking and guide books. Outside there is plenty of parking.
